Tifton, Georgia (Tifton Corners) – Salary: $10.35 per hour.

The Manager in Training assists the Store Manager with overall store operations and administrative duties. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of all product departments, a commitment to outstanding customer service, and the ability to oversee the store when the Store Manager is absent.

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and achieving departmental goals.
• Develop and execute action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to maintain profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and uphold store standards.
• Report inventory movements and customer trends to the Store Manager.
• Ensure consistent, high‑quality customer service as outlined in the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell Hibbett I City Gear’s merchandise and services.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise employees in the Store Manager’s absence, including interviewing, training, assigning work, and resolving issues.

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear or athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive self‑starter with initiative and strong attention to detail.
• Team‑player mindset with a passion for customer service and sales.
