As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will make sure vehicles are fueled, clean and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—the person greeting our customers when they arrive and the one sending them off with a smile.

• Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are complete
• Maintaining a clean and safe facility environment for customers and associates
• Building skills through training and coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to work outside
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Must understand and comply with Penske management instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations
• Must adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper tool selection, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Position requires driving Penske and customer vehicles; must maintain a current driver qualification file, including annual MVR check, DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History; CDL holders must undergo a DOT drug screen within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
• Must be willing to work required schedule, at specified location, complete employment application, submit for background screening (criminal checks, past employment and education), pass drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and be available for travel within a near geography for training

• Must frequently move, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods during the scheduled working period
• Must use hands on a routine basis to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and/or operate required tools or controls
• Must safely work at heights using ladders and elevated working platforms
• Must safely work in all weather conditions
• Must see and hear to safely navigate the work environment because of frequent movement of large trucks through the workplace
• Must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg); also require ability to push/pull truck tires that exceed 100 pounds
