Parts Delivery/Warehouse Position

Four-Star Freightliner is the Southeast region's leading heavy and medium-duty truck dealer that offers a comprehensive line of Freightliner and Western Star brand trucks for both highway and vocational use.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic and detail-oriented person with experience in parts delivery to add to the team in our Tifton, GA dealership. The parts delivery person coordinates closely with the parts department to get the right parts to the customers on time.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Pick and pull parts from the warehouse to fill orders
• Ensure that the parts being delivered match the customer's invoice
• Deliver customer parts in timely, accurate, safe, and friendly pickups to and from customer locations
• Maintain continuous communication with parts team as to customer needs may arise while on delivery
• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained
• Report any truck repairs to the parts manager or designated parts department team member
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed (e.g., put away stock, drive forklift, clean, etc.)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle, and lift parts.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) according to OSHA standards in some areas

Additionally:

• Must be able to lift items to 50 pounds consistently.
• Must be 19 years or older with a clean driving record
• Must pass a drug test and background check
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle, and lift parts.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) according to OSHA standards in some areas
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in parts delivery or delivery of goods for at least 2 years, plus.
• Valid driver's license as well as outstanding driving records
• Forklift experience would be a plus
