Portland, ORPay:$90,000 – $120,000 annually (DOE)
Schedule:
Full-time | Monday – Friday
Who We Are:
We are partnering with a successful and well-established commercial general contractor in the Portland Metro area known for delivering high-quality construction projects across multiple sectors. Their portfolio includes Higher Education, Student Housing, K-12 Schools, Office, Recreational, and Retail developments.
This team moves quickly, collaborates closely, and takes pride in delivering excellent results. Due to a strong project pipeline, they are looking for a Project Manager who can jump in immediately, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead preconstruction planning and coordinate project startup activities
Manage estimating and subcontractor bidding processes
Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
Oversee commercial construction projects from planning through completion
Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
Track budgets, timelines, and project milestones
Collaborate with field staff, leadership, and clients
Identify and resolve challenges to keep projects moving forward

What You Need to Have:6–10 years of general contracting project management experience
Proven success managing negotiated GMP commercial building projects
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
The Musts:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with Timberline
Experience with Primavera or MS Project
Experience with Bluebeam Strong problem-solving ability, flexibility, and leadership
Preferred:
Experience managing Higher Education, K-12, Housing, Office, Recreational, or Retail construction projects
Strong subcontractor and vendor management experience
Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
