About The Role

Responsible for Home Lending post‑closing process by ensuring loan files meet investor requirements. Ensure documentation and file are fully complete and in compliance.

  • Ensure loan files meet investor requirements and documentation is fully complete and in compliance.
  • Collaborate with Funding, Secondary, and other operational and sales associates to facilitate delivery of complete and compliant loan packages to investors.
  • Perform downloads from electronic loan files to imaging and depository systems.
  • Issue and guarantee mortgage loans using external websites, activation and payment of mortgage insurance.
  • Deliver excellent data integrity and accuracy while maintaining service level agreements and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner and collaborate with all HL associates to ensure open communication, timely responses, expedient and accurate trailing condition gathering and clearing, and a superior customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with all bank regulations for the assigned job function; keep up to date on regulation and policy changes, follow all bank policies and procedures, and complete required training.
  • Assist with coaching, mentoring, or training others; act as a subject‑matter expert when needed.
  • Foster the Columbia corporate culture, take personal initiative, and embrace the bank’s vision to become "Business Bank of Choice."
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
About You
  • High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
  • 2‑4 years of experience in mortgage lending, processing, funding, title, escrow or related field and at least 5 years as a Post‑Closing Specialist (Required).
  • Advanced knowledge of mortgage loan documents and title, escrow, and general mortgage flow and functions or related banking or financial field.
  • Advanced understanding of regulatory requirements or ability to understand and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong verbal communication and personal interaction skills, able to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and reading comprehension skills.
  • Proficient with personal computer and related software packages, including MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, LOS, and other business machines; proficient with data entry and balancing production standards with data integrity and accuracy.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $22.61 - $37.68. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non‑discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.

Primary Location

6610 SW Cardinal Lane, 3rd Floor, Tigard, OR 97224. Ability to work fully onsite at the posted location(s).
