Non‑exempt
Job Summary:
Responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of hotel guest rooms.
- Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors and carpets.
- Dusting, brushing, polishing, wiping, and straightening furniture, appliances, and surfaces.
- Changing linen and making beds.
- Cleaning showers, toilets, tubs, sinks and bathroom fixtures.
- Removing used guest amenities and trash.
- Inspecting rooms for lost and found items, safety hazards or damage and reporting same to supervisor.
- Maintaining storage rooms and housekeeping carts.
- Comply with established safety, sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, bending, kneeling, wiping, lifting, pushing, pulling during entire shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
