Asset Living is a third‑party management firm founded in 1986 that manages multifamily and other rental properties nationwide.

Position:
Leasing Manager

The Leasing Manager oversees all leasing and marketing activities at the property, working closely with the Community Manager to achieve occupancy targets, lead the leasing team, and maintain strong resident relations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Strategic leasing management: set goals and supervise leasing activities.
  • Daily onsite attendance required.
  • Ensure effective leasing procedures, accurate documentation, and timely reporting.
  • Audit lease files for policy compliance.
  • Address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop retention programs such as resident functions, promotions, and newsletters.
  • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
  • Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Implement marketing efforts, design campaigns, and generate traffic.
  • Monitor leasing/renewal progress and support where needed.
  • Plan and execute leasing and renewal events as approved.
  • Maintain product knowledge and conduct weekly market surveys.
  • Use sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic and occupancy rates.
  • Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and developing on‑site staff.
  • Ensure staff compliance with company policies and training benchmarks.
  • Foster staff teamwork and quality performance.
  • Manage customer service and maintenance request turnaround.
  • Maintain property appearance and coordinate timely repairs.
  • Supervise business functions related to operations.
  • Plan resource usage and vendor procurement efficiently.
Education / Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or one year of housing industry experience.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular standing or sitting for prolonged periods with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
  • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and use equipment such as golf carts.
  • Occasional light lifting up to 25 lbs and work in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
  • Potential overtime, weekend, and night work as needed.
Compensation & Benefits

Eligible for competitive wages and an extensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance; a 401(k) with employer matching; paid sick days and company holidays. Commission and performance bonuses may apply for full‑time employees.

Salary Range

$25 per hour to $28 per hour.
