Position: Extract Production Lead - Fire Dept Cannabis - Full-time

Cannabis Extract Production Lead

We're looking for an experienced production team member with leadership abilities to supervise a small production team. Key responsibilities include providing ongoing training and constructive feedback, meeting or exceeding production quotas and deadlines, and adapting quickly to new processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all the duties and responsibilities of the Production Team Member position (infusing raw material for infused pre-rolls, formulating distillate for cartridges and filling cartridges and pressing rosin)
  • Train production staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Task delegation, follow-up and coaching, and ensuring quotas and deadlines are being met
  • Routinely check in with staff to make sure processes are being followed properly;
  • Ensure staff members sign off on the SOP of each process
  • Conduct quality checks of cartridges;
  • Conduct packaging/production supply inventory audits
  • Adapting to changes in processes or protocols, and following instructions from supervisors
  • Other duties as assigned and needed
Qualifications
  • 6-months of production experience (cannabis production preferred but not required)
  • 1 year lead/supervisor experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective communication skills
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances without notice
  • Must be able to understand and comply with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Once trained, mastery of OLCC guidelines and compliance
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (OLCC Regulation)
  • Must have a valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit
