Location: Tigard, OR
Compensation: $25–$30/hr DOE
Shift: Swing Shift — Monday–Thursday, 4:30pm–2:30am

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will fit and fabricate mild and galvanized steel by reading and interpreting industrial blueprints. You’ll be responsible for layout, fit-up, and assembly of welded or bolted steel components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret industrial blueprints, including cut-to-length details, layouts, fit-ups, weld symbols, weld sizes, piece marks, and directional indicators
  • Cut, layout, fit, and assemble welded or bolted steel details
  • Develop, bend, roll, build up, and assemble various plate assemblies and structural components
  • Perform MIG welding on thick materials in accordance with D1.1 standards
  • Operate production machinery, burning equipment, and overhead cranes safely
  • Demonstrate knowledge of burning, welding, and steel fabrication processes
  • Care for and maintain company tools and equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work environment

What You Need to Have
  • 2+ years of MIG welding experience on thick materials
  • Ability to read and interpret industrial blueprints (required)
  • Fitting experience (strong plus)
  • D1.1 / D1.5 / D1.8 welding certifications
  • Familiarity with .052 wire
  • Reliable transportation
