QUALITY ENGINEER
Location:
Tigard, OR
• Pay: $80K DOE

Schedule:
Monday–Friday | Full-Time
We are partnering with a growing, highly specialized manufacturing company seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This organization is known for producing precision-engineered products and maintaining high quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. What You'll Do:- Support and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Investigate quality concerns and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Partner with Engineering, Production, Program Management, and Purchasing teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Support new product introductions and ensure smooth transition into production
- Conduct internal audits and assist with corrective and preventive action programs
- Analyze product failures and customer complaints and recommend solutions
- Assist with supplier quality initiatives, audits, and performance improvement efforts
- Develop and support quality training programs
- Prepare quality reports and documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Kaizen, and 5S activities
- Support Quality Inspectors and manufacturing teams in maintaining compliance and product quality
- Assist with reverse engineering and verification of customer-supplied products and drawings

- Minimum 5 years of quality experience within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years working in an ISO‑certified environment
- Strong understanding of quality systems, audits, and corrective actions
- Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Solid computer proficiency and reporting skills
- Manufacturing quality experience
- ISO environment experience
- Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
- Audit experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering degree
- Manufacturing Engineering experience
- CMM knowledge and inspection equipment experience
- Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S experience
- Plastics manufacturing experience
- Supplier quality experience
