Production Planning Expeditor
Location:
Portland, OR Pay: $27.00 - $30.00/hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
We are partnering with a well-established Portland manufacturer known for producing high-quality precision products and fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture. They are looking for a Production Planning Expeditor to help keep manufacturing operations running smoothly and customers satisfied.
What You'll Do:- Coordinate the flow of materials and production jobs throughout the manufacturing floor.
- Monitor production schedules and proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Work closely with Planning, Production, Sales, and Project Management to keep projects on schedule.
- Expedite high-priority jobs while balancing overall production demands.
- Communicate schedule updates and production status across departments.
- Analyze production constraints and help develop solutions to improve workflow.
- Support production planning efforts and continuous process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production information using Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Competitive pay of $27.00-$30.00/hour DOE

- 2+ years of experience in production planning, expediting, scheduling, materials coordination, or a similar manufacturing role.
- Experience in a manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or industrial environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
