Full Job Description

A client of ours in Tigard is looking to add a Tooling Specialist to their team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with plastic injection molding experience to step into a critical support role. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a tool room or as a Setup Technician, Process Technician, or Maintenance Technician within a plastic injection molding environment.

There is an opportunity to train alongside the current Tooling Specialist before they leave, making this an excellent position for someone who can quickly apply their experience and help support operations through the facility's planned closure later this year.

• Perform tooling changes, maintenance, and repairs on injection molding tools
• Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime
• Prepare, clean, inspect, and maintain molds for production
• Assist production with tooling setup and changeovers
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment running efficiently
• Maintain a safe and organized tool room
• Document tooling maintenance and repair activities as needed

• Previous experience in a tool room within a plastic injection molding facility preferred
• Experience as a Setup Technician, Process Technician, or Maintenance Technician in plastics manufacturing is strongly encouraged
