ScheduleMonday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm (4-10's)
Job DescriptionThis is a Temp-to-Hire position!
We are looking for a candidate the has the ability and experience to apply coats of paint, varnish andenamel to various types of materials. This person should be well rounded and understand the general operation of a paint shop and custom painting.
Duties- Reads and interprets work orders from supervisor regarding painting.
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, cleaning, and smoothing.
- Selects premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning
- Drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
- Paints surfaces primarily with a spray gun.
- Continuously cleans and maintains spray equipment.
- Maintain clean work area, tools, and equipment.
- A background or experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and quality control of assigned tasks to guarantee workplace efficiency and performance.
- Flexible and willing to help other departments when needed.
- Able to work alone or as a team.
