Job Description

This is part logistics coordination, part hands on shop support, and entirely focused on keeping big steel moving safely and efficiently! The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement of inbound and outbound materials, fabricated steel, and assemblies across the Fought campus. Working closely with Production, Purchasing, Project Management, Transportation, and the Yard teams, this position ensures materials are received, staged, loaded, documented, and shipped according to project schedules and customer requirements.

This role serves as the central point of coordination for daily shipping activities, helping maximize yard efficiency, maintain material traceability, minimize delays, and support uninterrupted production. Important to Know:
This is definitely not a desk only position. You will spend a good portion of your day in the shop and yard, working around active steel fabrication operations. One moment you may be updating shipping documentation, and the next you may be operating an overhead crane, jumping on a forklift, or helping move large pieces of fabricated steel. Steel toed boots are required.

  • Move regularly between the office, shop, and yard throughout the day
  • Support a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Jump in and help wherever needed to keep operations moving
Benefits
  • $27 to $30 per hour DOE
  • Four day workweek with Fridays off and optional overtime

  • Work alongside experienced professionals in steel fabrication and construction
  • Opportunity to learn, grow, and build a long term career
