Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Inspector, Quality Control to join their team. As an Inspector, Quality Control, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
  • Perform visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools and lab equipment to verify product dimensions and performance, including prior use of Smart Scope Zone 3 and CMM highly preferred.
  • Accurately maintain Lot History Records (LHR), batch records, and inspection logs in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and FDA regulations.
  • Identify, classify, and report defects, managing non-conforming material by initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and assisting with investigations.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Associates or Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated industries, with 1+ years of experience desired.
  • Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 regulations.
  • Proficiency in using software like SAP, MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to report deviations and collaborate effectively.
