Responsibilities Sales & Customer Experience- Collaborate on plans to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique, inclusive customer experience.
- Educate customers and staff on brand values and positions on ethical issues such as fighting animal testing, vegetarian ingredients, and packaging.
- Deepen product knowledge and provide informed recommendations.
- Use business acumen to develop and execute plans that improve KPIs and achieve sales goals.
- Coach, develop, and implement staff development plans; provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a diverse team and prioritize DEIB training and initiatives.
- Create action plans to enhance staff engagement and handle performance concerns with empathy.
- Lead recruitment and selection with transparent and equitable practices.
- Ensure compliance with policies, time and attendance standards, health and safety protocols, and respectful workplace guidelines.
- Train staff on inventory standards, barrier rotation, and ordering to maintain optimal stock within budget.
- Create and execute merchandising plans that improve KPIs and provide a clean, attractive environment.
- Schedule staff to meet peak demand, manage breaks, and maintain payroll accuracy while staying within the labor budget.
- 3–5 years of management experience in a retail environment.
- Strong HR skills: hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
- Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
- Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback.
- Proven record of developing retail staff careers.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and adaptability to other systems.
- Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration, DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
