Key Holder

At Portland Luggage, we believe in providing excellent customer service every time you walk in the door. To that extent, we carry a wide range of products in order to meet all manner of needs when traveling.

Portland Luggage is looking for a part-time key holder to join our team here at Washington Square Mall. The ideal person will interact with a diverse range of personalities in order to help our customer base find their perfect purchases; customer service experience; cash handling experience; constantly improve their knowledge about our products and the travel industry as a whole; and be able to thrive while working with people.

Responsibilities:

• Open/close the store
• Communicate proactively and effectively with the customers
• Resolve complex challenges to provide quality service
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store
• Properly communicate any challenges with the Washington Square management team and corporate representatives
• Properly prepare opening/closing paperwork including deposits at the end of business hours

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED
• While schedules are usually set, some flexibility for vacations; emergencies; education; and sick days will be required

The hourly wage for this position will be dependent on geographic region; prior experience; and knowledge of the industry among other factors.
