Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Dive Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who appreciates diving and enjoys helping others discover the underwater world. As a Dive Shop Assistant, you will oversee in‑shop sales of scuba and free diving courses and equipment, provide exceptional customer service, and support our mission to make diving accessible and enjoyable for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with selecting scuba and free diving equipment that suits their needs.
• Provide information about diving courses and travel opportunities.
• Handle sales transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and well‑stocked.
• Support dive equipment servicing operations as needed.
• Promote a welcoming and knowledgeable environment that reflects our passion for diving.

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

• A passion for scuba diving or free diving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service or retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly about diving equipment and courses.
• Reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Competitive pay at $18/hour.
• 25%-35% discount on in‑shop dive equipment purchases.
• Discounts on all dive classes up to the Assistant Instructor certification level.
