Medical Sales Representative

Position Overview

Full‑time Medical Sales Representative located in Portland, OR (NW Portland – 97209). Duties include driving patient volume through consultative selling and maintaining key relationships within the medical community. Travel is required as a road warrior.

• Drive sales results through consultative selling to meet and exceed performance goals.
• Generate new patient volume through field and outbound activities such as phone calls to referring physician offices and non-referral event coordinators.
• Identify territory opportunities and challenges, developing and implementing strategies via territory business plans to influence new patient volume and referral growth.
• Communicate initial strategy for new pipeline opportunities and work with the Regional Sales Director to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Educate clients on CVR’s services, clinical advances, disease states, and competitive differences.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers through office calls, daily “breakfast and learns,” “lunch and learns,” and CVR physician co-marketing.
• Organize and execute CME events and other visibility opportunities in person and via webinars with referring physicians and professional medical organizations.
• Actively manage territory(ies) using the CVR Sales application, developing territory management plans and prioritizing account calls and activities.

• 1–2 years of sales‑related or relevant experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Base salary: $55,000–$60,000 per year.
Potential total earnings: $90,000–$100,000 per year.
