Lead Water Mitigation Technician

Summit Reconstruction and Restoration is currently hiring a Lead Water Mitigation Technician who has the desire to grow with our company. We are actively seeking a self‑motivated, responsible and detail‑oriented individual who will work within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area. This will be an active role in the field as well as some office work. This position comes with a Competitive Hiring Package

• Lead mitigation crew; first point of contact for questions and process instructions for the team
• Follow up and final inspections at other technician jobs
• Confirm signed work authorization for all jobs
• Ensure daily DASH/MICA updates on all ongoing mitigation projects
• Inspect, evaluate, and document damaged properties.
• Ensure time and materials are coded to the correct projects
• Required 24/7 on call for 7 days per month
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
• Select, schedule and coordinate emergency services subcontractors
• Proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup, current certification preferred
• Professionally represent Summit Reconstruction and our core values
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are completed in a timely manner
• Strong mitigation/demo skills with an emphasis on quality and clean up
• Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
• Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them properly clean at all times
• Communicate with customers and ensure the highest customer service at all times
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines

• Must be able to pass a drug screen, criminal background check and have a clean driving record and valid driver license
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES RESTORATION EXPERIENCE
  , which MUST include a background in a combination of the following: fire damage, water damage, mold remediation, structural drying, and other types of remediation services. Having your certifications (WRT) is a plus!

• Drywall installation, paint and finish carpentry skills are a plus
• Ability to lift and or move up to 100lbs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer savvy
• Completion of technical or trade school courses in construction, water or fire mitigation, or related field a plus
