Driver - Class B Local (Open)

- Safety and Vehicle Compliance: maintain a safe driving record and appropriate licensing, adhere to company safety policies, use personal protective equipment, perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, and comply with federal, state, local, and DOT regulations.
- Delivery and Logistics: load and unload service trucks, perform timely scheduled and non‑route deliveries, ensure accurate load documents.
- Administrative Tasks: accurately maintain company and DOT records, identify cylinder problems, pull orders from warehouse, collect and submit customer payments.
- General Duties: support internal and external customers regarding inventory and delivery needs, and be available for occasional mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays for on‑call duty.
- Valid Class A CDL or CDL B with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements.
- HAZMAT endorsement is required. Candidates will not be considered unless they currently have their HAZMAT endorsement.
- Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
- No more than two traffic convictions and no more than one at‑fault accident in the last 3 years; or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last 3 years.
- No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
- Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
- Capability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with aid of material‑handling equipment.
- Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
- Forklift experience.
- 1 year of CDL experience.
