Route Driver - Office Coffee

Job Summary

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services, filling and maintaining vending and related equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image at all times while maintaining excellent client and customer relationships. • Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer them as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and other related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines; report defective equipment to maintenance services when necessary.
• Prior to each route, ensure the truck is loaded with all required product to service scheduled machines following outlined operational procedures.
• Inform regular clients and customers about new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays and issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation according to district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform all job functions safely and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years of driving experience required.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver's license; safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.
• Preferred 1–2 years of customer service experience or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, responsible for route, working unsupervised 98% of the workday.
