Position OverviewWe are hiring for a Driver- CDL A or B in Tigard, OR. This role centers on ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient delivery operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safety and Vehicle Compliance:
Maintaining a safe driving record and appropriate licensing, strict adherence to company safety policies, including the use of PPE, and actively identifying workplace hazards. Performing pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and DOT regulations. - Delivery and Logistics:
Loading and unloading service trucks, performing scheduled and non-route deliveries to meet customer satisfaction, and ensuring all necessary load documents are accurate and available. - Administrative Tasks:
Promptly and accurately maintaining required company and DOT records, identifying potential cylinder problems, pulling orders from the warehouse, and collecting and submitting all customer payments. - General Duties:
Providing support to internal and external customers regarding inventory and delivery needs, and being available for occasional mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays for on‑call duty.
- Valid Class A CDL or CDL B with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements. Hazmat is required; candidates without HAZMAT will not be considered.
- Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
- No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents within the last three years (or no more than one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident).
- No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
- Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
- Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
- Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last five years, or provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
- Forklift experience.
- 1 year of CDL experience.
Pay: $27.50‑$34 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
