The New Hampshire Veterans Home has a full-time, 1st shift vacancy for a Program Specialist Scheduler.
Proposed Schedule Includes: 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday). Must be flexible for potential weekend coverage (additional $2.00/hour).

The Veterans Home is a NH State Agency providing a total compensation package for full-time employees.
- Oversees and manages the scheduling of all staff resources within the nursing department under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing.
- Maintains appropriate scheduling of nursing professionals to ensure the required allocation of licensed staff on site to provide direct care for the geriatric resident population in a long-term care facility.
- Supervises a subordinate staff member in the daily operations of nursing scheduling.
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of 4 years of education and experience after high school. Education and experience must be in the fields of public health, health sciences, medical, or related field.
- License/Certification: Valid driver's license and/or have access to transportation for statewide travel.
- Other Requirements: Required to work every other weekend. May be required to work holidays if needed. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency and appointing authority.

- Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in PC applications and Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word. Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to think independently and demonstrate good problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of individuals in a positive manner.
