As part of Detection and Measurement, Aids to Navigation, including Flash, Sabik Marine and Sealite, are leading providers of lighting and navigational aids for the marine, obstruction, and airfield end markets. As an Assembly Supervisor, you will be accountable for providing technical direction, professional knowledge, planning and direct supervision to production associates that exceed customer and industry demands in safety, quality and delivery at the highest efficiency.

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

• Supervisory Leadership:
  Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing team, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and a positive working environment
• Safety:
  Promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines, conducting regular inspections, and addressing potential issues immediately
• Production Execution:
  Collaborate with production planning and logistics to prioritize production schedules, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery of orders that meet customer expectations
• Continuous Improvement and Documentation:
  Use ERP system and other technology to prepare reports for planning, performance monitoring, issue identification, and improvement

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

• Required Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Education &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Bachelor's degree preferred
