Currently Technica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Receptionist in Timmins, ON. The role of the Receptionist is to provide secretarial, clerical and administrative support across all departments and being the first point of contact for all visitors.

The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Greet visitors and ensure a professional and welcoming office environment
  • Answer and direct telephone calls and manage email correspondence
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organization
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, organizing, scanning, and printing documents
  • Place and manage orders for office supplies
  • Assist the Project Manager, District Manager, and Project Administrator with assigned tasks
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the entire team
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support as required

Qualifications

  • Secondary education or equivalent
  • Be able to work within office hours: 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous reception/administrative experience in a corporate environment is preferred
  • Proficiency with computer programs (MS Office)
  • Attentive to detail with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative with the ability to work independently and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Display strong communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to uphold attention to detail and maintain the organizations values while upholding confidentiality
  • Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
  • · Bilingualism (French and English) is considered a strong asset but not required
