Finance Superintendent Operations

Join Lake Shore Gold as a Finance Superintendent at our Timmins Operations, Ontario. This hybrid role combines financial oversight and strategic planning within a vibrant mining environment.

In this full-time position, you will oversee all financial reporting, accounting, and accounts payable activities. Report directly to the Director of Finance while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and optimal performance among your team. This role is essential for maintaining the company’s financial health and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct month-end closing and financial deliverables

• Ensure compliance in weekly payments and financial procedures

• Maintain internal controls and assist in audit preparations

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for departments

• Communicate roles and expectations clearly to team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field

• CPA (CA, CMA, CGA) or equivalent experience

• Extensive knowledge of financial practices, including IFRS

• Direct mining experience is an asset

• Strong organizational and communication skills
