Beat Geologist Position

Lake Shore Gold is hiring an Underground Beat Geologist in Timmins, Ontario. This role supports mining operations and focuses on advanced geological practices in an underground setting.

The position is full-time, covering both Timmins West and Bell Creek Mines with a structured 5-5-4 shift schedule. Your expertise in drill programs and geological assessments will directly impact the company's success in gold mining. We welcome entry-level candidates willing to grow professionally in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct underground drilling programs efficiently

• Maintain geological mapping and sampling activities

• Provide guidance and support to the Mining Department

• Maintain up-to-date records of geological data

• Generate reports and insights for strategic planning

Requirements:

• Degree in Geoscience; APGO membership preferred

• At least 3 years of relevant experience

• Familiarity with grade control and safety practices

• Proficient in drill layout techniques

• Experience with geological modeling software preferred
