Core Logging Geologist

We are looking to hire a Core Logging Geologist to join our Exploration Office in Timmins, ON on a 12‑month contract. The schedule for this position is Monday‑Friday 8 hours/day.

In this role, you will assist the underground diamond drill group primarily logging core for the Bell Creek and Timmins West mine sites as well as for various regional exploration projects. You may also be required to assist with creating diamond drill hole layouts, entering daily drill statistics, and sectional interpretations of the targeted zones. This role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp‑based position.

Compensation: $38.00‑$43.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Vacancy Status:

• Must either be an PGO member or be eligible to apply for PGO or GIT membership in the Province of Ontario
• 1‑3 years’ experience working on diamond drill projects, conducting a variety of duties to assist the exploration/mine geologist.
• Familiar with logging, sampling of drill core and core handling procedure.
• Experience using computers and Microsoft Office programs.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
