Position: Underground Beat Geologist at Lake Shore Gold
Join Lake Shore Gold as an Underground Beat Geologist in Timmins, supporting both Timmins West and Bell Creek Mines. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and unique shift schedules.

This new role combines geological expertise with daily operations in a crucial mining environment. Candidates should have a university degree in Geoscience, preferably with Professional Geologist (PGeo) membership, and three years of experience in gold exploration. You will oversee advanced drill programs, manage core logging and mapping, and ensure safety practices are upheld in daily grade control functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with advanced underground drill programs

• Conduct core logging and mapping tasks

• Oversee daily grade control functions

• Update underground sample and mapping databases

• Complete formal reports and documentation as requested

Requirements:

• University degree in Geoscience preferred

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or exploration

• Knowledge of drill layout procedures

• Familiarity with 3D modeling software

• Commitment to safety practices
