Lead Geologist at IAMGOLD Côté Gold

IAMGOLD seeks a Senior Production Geologist to lead innovative geological initiatives at the Côté Gold Mine in Ontario. Focus on geological modeling and team leadership to optimize resource extraction.

As a Senior Production Geologist, you will report to the Chief Geologist and coordinate mine geology deliverables.

Your role includes mentoring grade control geologists and managing geology consultants to drive continuous improvement. You will lead critical initiatives like mine-to-mill reconciliation and geological data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mine geology team, promoting a safe work environment

• Oversee geological modeling and material movement

• Manage grade control drilling campaigns effectively

• Supervise updates and releases of block models

• Integrate cross-functional inputs for effective planning

Requirements:

• Degree in geology or related field

• Eligible for Geologist registration in Ontario

• Minimum 7 years of experience in geology

• Open-pit mining experience is a plus

• Background in geological models and exploration techniques
