Position: Geologist for Core Logging in Ontario
Join the forefront of the gold mining industry as an Exploration Geologist in Northern Ontario. This challenging role focuses on core logging and operates on a 14/14 camp rotation.

We are looking for an experienced Exploration Geologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and 2 to 5 years of experience. Your core responsibilities will include logging drill cores, coordinating with the Exploration Manager, and collecting geotechnical data as needed. Proficiency in logging core and knowledge of gold deposits will enhance your application. You'll also use computer software for geological assignments and prepare geological maps based on collected data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed logging of drill cores and geotechnical data

• Ensure drill rigs are correctly oriented as specified

• Make informed decisions on drilling processes with senior staff

• Perform geological field mapping as necessary

• Regularly update the drill database and ensure validation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related discipline

• 2-5 years of relevant geological experience

• Class G Driver’s License

• Prior experience with gold deposits is advantageous

• Logging drill core experience is required
