Chief Geologist for Mining Leadership

In this full-time position at the Timmins Bell Creek Mine, you’ll report directly to the Mine Manager and oversee grade control, geological mapping, and sampling. Your leadership will ensure that geological interpretations are accurately integrated into mine planning processes. This role includes developing training for emerging geologists while fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily geological assessments and ore/waste calls
• Supervise data collection and management processes
• Approve mine designs and geological interpretations
• Collaborate with engineering on resource planning
• Identify exploration targets to enhance resource growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology is essential
• 8-10 years of experience in gold mining
• Leadership experience in a mining context
• Proficiency in industry-standard software tools
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
