Timmins Core Logging Geologist Position

Explore a unique role as a Core Logging Geologist with Lake Shore Gold in Timmins, Ontario. This position offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge mining technology in a contract capacity.

As part of the Exploration Office team, you will log core samples primarily for the underground operations at Bell Creek and Timmins West mines. Furthermore, you'll assist with creating layouts and capturing important daily drilling metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Log core for underground diamond drills

• Support generating diamond drill hole layouts

• Enter daily drilling statistics accurately

• Work on sectional interpretations of ore targets

• Promote adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• PGO member or eligible for PGO/GIT membership

• Between 1 to 3 years’ experience in drilling

• Familiar with logging and core handling processes

• Competent in Microsoft Office applications

• Legally able to work in Canada
