We are actively looking for a Field Technician (Geology) who will support grade control and sampling efforts. Reporting to the Chief Geologist, you'll provide crucial onsite geological data to empower strategic operational decisions that drive safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect samples for the grade control program
• Organize and oversee the dispatch of samples
• Safely operate trucks around active mining areas
• Track inventory of supplies and samples
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and safety equipment
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent educational background
• Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience
• Experience in open-pit mining is a plus
• Basic computer proficiency in operational tasks
• Capability to work in varied weather conditions
