Truck & Coach Technician

Joel Vachon Trucking is currently seeking a skilled and motivated 310TTruck and Coach Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time,permanent position offering excellent opportunities for training, development,and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect,diagnose, maintain, and repair the following systems:

Electrical and electronic systems

Enginecomponents (fuel, exhaust, intake, emissions)
Transmissions,clutches, axles, and drive shafts

Frames,body structures, trim, and coupling systems

Steeringand suspension (including electronic/computer-controlled components)
Tires,wheels, hubs, and alignment

Hydraulicand air brake systems

HVACand refrigeration systems (where applicable)
Troubleshootcomplex mechanical and electronic issues and determine required repairs

Communicaterepair requirements and timelines clearly with supervisors and clients

Performpreventative maintenance and recommend additional services when needed

Accurately complete work orders, documenting labor hours, parts used, and detailedservice notes

Maintaina clean, organized, and safe work environment

Followall company health, safety, and PPE protocols

Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and support the team as needed

Deliver high-quality workmanship with a focus on customer service andprofessionalism

Qualifications :

• Licensed Truck and Coach Technician (310T)
• Working towards 310T Red Seal considered an asset. (Level 3 Apprentice or higher preferred)
• Strongdiagnostic and computer-based troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient in reading and writing in English (French/English bilingualism is anasset)
