YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, documenting findings and corrective actions;
- PLC and HMI systems (including PLC programming);
- VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives);
- Maintain and calibrate process instrumentation (e.g., pressure, flow, temperature, level sensors);
- Update and maintain as‑built documentation for all electrical and control system modifications;
- Fabricate control panels, wiring check‑out. Perform and/or assist with systems start up;
- Assist Trades personnel in the coordination of on‑site activities and monitoring of progress;
- Provide input relating to the resolution of any design or installation issues;
- Where possible participate as part of the team to plan the job from the onset;
- Install, alter, repair and maintain a wide range of instrumentation equipment for safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation;
- Ensure all instrument maintenance operations follow applicable regulations and trade practices;
- May troubleshoot problems that occur with the job, submit requests for supplies and tools to ensure that they are available on the worksite when needed;
- Other duties as directed from time to time.
- Must be an instrumentation technician 447A or equivalent with 5 years of experience;
- Experience with PLC and HMI systems;
- Proficient in using electrical test equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, signal generators, loop calibrators);
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings;
- Solid understanding of industrial control systems, including analog/digital signals and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profi Net, Ethernet/IP);
- Able to set priorities and work with at times limited supervision;
- Ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology;
- Experience reading & understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics;
- Basic computer skills, written and verbal communication skills;
- Candidate must be willing to start an apprenticeship towards electrical licence 309A.

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
