Field- Diamond Driller Assistant

Discover a rewarding role as a Diamond Driller Assistant with Major Drilling Group International Inc. in various locations across Canada. This seasonal position begins on June 13, 2026, providing essential support in mining and geological exploration.
Candidates will be engaged for 10 months of the year, assisting drillers and performing tasks that ensure operational efficiency and safety. Strong physical fitness and teamwork are critical as you will be based in camp settings, working long hours with a focus on quality and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with all rod tripping operations and tasks
• Ensure equipment is clean and adequately serviced
• Manage the collection and marking of samples
• Track fuel and oil levels for machinery operations
• Conduct minor mechanical maintenance when needed
Requirements:
• Must withstand long shifts (10-12 hours), rotating days and nights
• Hold a valid driver’s license; abstract is beneficial
• Certification in First Aid CPR C is required
• Physically capable of performing heavy lifting
• On-the-job experience in diamond drilling is advantageous
