IAMGOLD Mine Equipment Operator Position

Location: Gogama

Work with IAMGOLD as a Mine Equipment Operator at the Côté Gold Mine, Ontario. This role emphasizes safe equipment operation, maintenance, and teamwork in a cutting-edge environment.

As an operator, you will utilize various heavy machinery like the Cat 6015 Excavator and support efficient mining operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe operation of heavy mining equipment

• Clean and check machinery for safe functioning

• Communicate deficiencies and troubleshoot equipment issues

• Work alongside team members to achieve daily targets

• Document and maintain accurate equipment logs

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education

• 6 months of relevant equipment operation experience

• Valid driver's license required with a clean record

• Maintenance experience considered advantageous

• Previous heavy equipment training is preferred
