Join the Macassa Mine team as a Drill Doctor, responsible for the maintenance and repair of vital mining equipment. This crucial role focuses on ensuring equipment longevity and reliability.
In this position, you will utilize over five years of maintenance knowledge to conduct repairs on various mining tools and installations. The role includes both preventative maintenance and regular inspections to maintain operational efficiency. Safety and cleanliness will be at the core of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain jacklegs and stopers
• Overhaul and install components based on mechanical direction
• Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of equipment
• Keep the workspace organized following 5-S principles
• Assist team members with repairs as needed
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of maintenance experience
• Familiarity with CMMS and RCM practices
• Strong ability to work as part of a team
• Capability to lift 80 lbs and remain on feet
Contribute to a safe and effective mining operation as a Drill Doctor at Macassa Mine.
