Scoop Operator West Mine

Lake Shore Gold is seeking a dedicated Scoop Operator at the Timmins West Mine and Bell Creek Mine in Ontario. This full-time position involves mucking underground materials while adhering to robust safety standards.

We welcome skilled candidates to operate scoop equipment in our underground facilities.

Your role will be crucial to the mining process, focusing on mucking ore and ensuring timely loading of haulage trucks. Expect a challenging schedule of 11-hour shifts with rotations between days and nights to maintain optimal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Muck and load underground ore/waste efficiently

• Operate haulage trucks during loading processes

• Adhere to all safety protocols in operations

• Collaborate with colleagues for effective teamwork

• Maintain equipment as necessary for operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Required underground experience

• U0068 and U0020 common core modules

• Completed Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core

• Ability to work in Canada

• Strong focus on safety and compliance
