As a Welder Apprentice, your responsibilities include assisting Journeyperson Welders in performing welding and fabrication tasks. You'll engage in the inspection and repair of equipment components, learning various welding processes while adhering to safety standards. This position is ideal for those pursuing a career in welding within the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with structural welding and fabrication tasks

• Support the inspection of component integrity and repairs

• Help with field welding to minimize downtime

• Participate in rebuilding components for mining equipment

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Welding Apprenticeship program

• Familiarity with welding processes and safety protocols

• Experience in industrial maintenance roles is preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and capacity to lift 50 lbs
