Jumbo Drill Operator

Join Dumas as a Lead Development Miner and Jumbo Operator in Timmins Camp, Ontario. This challenging position combines leadership and drilling expertise to ensure successful underground operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a development crew while operating a Jumbo drill to follow mining plans and safety standards. You’ll be critical in drilling, blasting, and installing necessary support as mine headings advance. The role features a 14/14 work rotation and attractive wages between $68.80 - $83.50.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cycle Jumbo drill according to geology control

• Direct a crew to meet production goals

• Construct underground installations during advancement

• Supervise muck removal for cleanliness

• Uphold Dumas safety and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Completed Underground Hard Rock Mining modules

• At least 3 years with Jumbo drills

• History of leading teams in mining

• Excellent safety record

• Ability to conduct routine equipment checks
