As a Blaster, you will report to the Site Supervisor and be responsible for designing and executing planned blasts. With 2-5 years of experience required, you will apply industry standards and safety regulations while working with explosives and detonators. This full-time permanent role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and prepare blasts following customer specifications
• Rigorously adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Handle explosives and initiate blasts for rock fragmentation
• Complete detailed blasting reports and inventory records
• Collaborate with technical teams to meet operational goals
Requirements:
• Recognized Blaster certification required
• 2-5 years of experience in blasting operations
• Knowledge of explosive legislation and safety protocols
• Strong decision-making and planning skills
• No legal employment impediments
