Are you aMobile Drill Technician looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for multiple mining sites across Canada! Secure your future and contribute to the growth of a thriving industry!
Main Responsibilities:- Inspect, maintain, and repair drilling equipment and components used in mining operations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on drilling machinery.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on drills and related equipment.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and drilling system manuals.
- Replace and adjust defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and equipment startup procedures.
- Work closely with operators to troubleshoot and optimize drilling performance.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams on-site.
- Rotational schedule based on the mining site (
14-14
). - 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night.
- Competitive salary between $38.00 and $54.00/hour
, based on experience and position. - Overtime paid at time and a half as per site policy.

- Diploma in Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics, or Drilling Technology.
- Experience in drill maintenance
and repair, preferably in a mining environment. - Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics and diagnose drilling system failures.
- Underground or Surface Common Core Certification (an asset).
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum).
- Red Seal Certification (an asset).
- Strong team spirit and adaptability to rotating schedules.
- Experience in the mining industry (strong asset).
