Position: Field Service Technician at Sandvik

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic with Sandvik, you'll leverage your expertise to perform repairs and maintenance on surface mining equipment. With at least three years of related experience, you'll engage in new equipment commissioning and contribute to continual improvement initiatives. Your proficiency in electrical schematics will play a vital role in ensuring operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment for performance and diagnose faults

• Adjust and repair defective parts as per specifications

• Test and validate repaired equipment operationally

• Commission new equipment at customer sites

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Trade certification (red seal is an asset)

• 3 years experience with mining equipment is preferred

• Proficient in hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Strong communication skills are essential

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
