Boltec Operator ON

Join Technica’s team as a Boltec Operator in Timmins, Ontario. This role focuses on running mechanized rock bolters safely to support underground mining operations effectively.

Technica is actively hiring for multiple Boltec Operator positions. Candidates will perform pre-operational inspections, operate mechanized bolting equipment, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment is essential, along with a minimum of five years of underground development experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Boltec mechanized rock bolters safely

• Inspect underground headings and scale loose rock

• Install ground support using mechanized bolting

• Rehabilitate existing underground drifts as needed

• Assist in LHD operation and mechanical installations

Requirements:

• Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core certification

• Underground Specialty Module U0018 is required

• 5 years of underground development experience

• Previous jackleg and stoper operation experience

• Strong understanding of mining practices and safety
