Experienced Underground Mechanic Needed

Join Hancon Mining Division Inc. as an Experienced Underground Mechanic in Matachewan, Ontario. This full-time position features a competitive salary ranging from $85.00 to $96.00 per hour.

In this role, you'll perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on underground mining systems. We seek individuals with a valid Red Seal/Journeyperson License and a minimum of two years of underground experience to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute installations and repairs on mining equipment

• Carry out preventative maintenance as per OEM guidelines

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently

• Work closely with site personnel for operational effectiveness

• Engage in workplace inspections and safety initiatives

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal/Journeyperson License as a mechanic

• Preferred 2-3 years of underground mechanic experience

• Completion of Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner program

• Strong focus on safety in teamwork environments

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
