Dumas offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Development Miner to work underground on the Timmins West project. Hone your skills in various mining activities.

Dumas is hiring a Development Miner with a minimum of three years of underground mining experience. You’ll be responsible for drilling, blasting, and scaling while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. Skills in operating and maintaining mining equipment are vital for performing these tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct underground development: drilling and blasting

• Operate jacklegs safely, following safety guidelines

• Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance

• Communicate with team members to meet production targets

• Participate in inspections and hazard assessments

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years underground mining experience

• Valid Ontario Underground Miner Common Core certification

• Strong knowledge of blasting techniques

• Capability to work in challenging environments

• Excellent commitment to safety and work practices
