We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to support our Timmins branch in the construction sector. In this full-time role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various construction machinery. Candidates who take pride in their work and thrive on solving complex mechanical challenges will be ideal for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on heavy equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment overhauls
• Utilize digital diagnostic tools for troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
Requirements:
• Certified Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7,000 hours of hands-on experience with construction equipment
• Valid Class G driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and techniques
• Ability to adapt to various working locations and conditions
